Full Time: 35 hour per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Lecturers with expertise in the field of Sports and Exercise Psychology to join the Division of Sport and Exercise at the University of the West of Scotland. One post will be available from April 2022 and the other from July 2022.
As a Lecturer, you will complement the growth of research and the advancement of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the Division of Sport and Exercise. You should have prior experience of teaching, learning, and student assessment in a Higher Education environment and will have a research profile that is commensurate with the phase of your career.
You will join a progressive group of staff within the Division of Sport and Exercise who deliver one postgraduate programme and four undergraduate programmes at our recently developed Ayr and Lanarkshire campuses. Academic staff within the Division contribute to the research activities of the Institute of Clinical Exercise and Health Science who have been recognised as the highest-ranked Sport and Exercise Science research institute in Scotland and within the top 75 worldwide in the Shanghai rankings. Areas of research focus include coach development and education, digital health, healthy ageing, the female athlete, sport nutrition, paediatric physical activity, sport psychology, and team sport performance.
