The University of Southampton is looking to appoint a Quality, Standards and Accreditation Adviser – Transnational Education (TNE), to work within the University's Quality, Standards and Accreditation Team.
The Quality, Standards and Accreditation Team is responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing the University’s quality, monitoring and enhancement framework, ensuring it is well-matched to national expectations and supports the University’s strategic objectives.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing specialist knowledge, advice and support to staff at all levels of the University on the policy and procedures relating to the development, establishment and renewal of a range of TNE and other collaborative provision arrangements. You will provide advice and support for the quality assurance of TNE and other collaborative provision arrangements, including site visits, on-going monitoring and the periodic review of collaborative provision arrangements.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in quality assurance and in establishing and managing collaborative provision arrangements. Experience of establishing and managing TNE arrangements is highly desirable. You will be able to develop positive working relationships with key academic colleagues across different disciplines and with professional services staff across the University. You will be solution-focused with excellent communication and negotiation skills and demonstrate the ability to think creatively and innovatively with a commitment to continual enhancement. You will have excellent written skills and have experience of drafting reports or policies that synthesise complex factors in a clear way.
