We are looking to make an appointment to complement the current team supporting the delivery of our portfolio of medical sciences and technology awards at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This is a full time, permanent position based at University’s Hendon Campus in North London and the appointment will be made at either Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, depending on qualifications and experience.
We are looking for applicants with a strong links to the pathology service/healthcare science industry or research track record, focused on medical microbiology. You will also be someone who is committed to promoting the development of the next generation of biomedical scientists through the provision of high-quality teaching and practice-based learning. The successful candidate is expected to make a positive contribution to our academic provision through teaching, engagement in research and professional practice.
The role is based in the Department of Natural Sciences, which delivers high quality teaching, research, and consultancy across a range of professional and academic programmes. The focus of the department is on the application of knowledge to practice, and practice to student learning underpinned by evidence and research.
