Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Lecturer / Assistant Professor in Global History since c. 1750 within UCD School of History.

The School of History is seeking to appoint a temporary Lecturer / Assistant Professor to a 4 year, fixed term post in global history since c. 1750. The School particularly welcomes applications from global historians working on one or more of the following themes: race, gender, environment, capital, labour, colonialism and anti-colonialism, and religion; and with a focus on one of the following regions in their global context, including knowledge of relevant languages for research: Africa, Latin America, East Asia, and South Asia.

95 Lecturer/Assistant Professor (above the bar) Salary Scale: €55,397 - €87,724 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
