Role Description

About the Role

The Centre for Structures, Assembly and Intelligent Automation integrates engineering and social science research to advance human-robot collaboration in industry. Its Industrial Psychology and Human Factors research group requires a post-doctoral Research Fellow to join the team. This role will primarily require human analysis research in our exciting human-robot interaction studies but will also involve wider human factors contributions and activities, including teaching and student supervision.

About You

You will be educated to doctoral level in a Human Factors, Psychology, or related topic with social science research methods / analysis as a major thesis component. You will have experience and demonstrated competence in research design and applying qualitative and quantitative methods. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both orally and in written work, and ideally have experience in authoring / publishing high quality research papers. Applicants close to completion of their PhD will be considered.
