Under the leadership of our new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Martin Jones, we are embarking on the next exciting phase of our strategic development and in readiness for this we are making a number of high-profile appointments including to the role of Executive Director of Student Recruitment & Admissions.  Our Executive Director of Student Recruitment & Admissions will provide strong, corporate leadership to the student recruitment and admissions functions for both our home and international student recruitment. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor – Education, and as a member of the University Executive Board,  the Executive Director will develop and lead initiatives and activities that will enable the University to achieve the objectives of our ‘Towards 2030’ strategic plan and associated strategies as they relate to growth, recruitment and widening participation.

Candidates will have substantial experience of developing strategic and tactical student recruitment plans in higher education together with experience of delivering a transformational approach to innovating and modernising recruitment and admissions practices.  You must bring excellent leadership and management credentials, combined with a creative side that will help set strategic direction and define our student recruitment proposition.  You must be able to evidence that you are committed to the values and ethos of our university, building strong partnerships with colleagues across the academic and professional services communities, together with a sharp focus upon evaluating impact.
