We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to join one of our Enterprise Units within the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences. You will provide effective and professional administration supporting the end to end process for consultancy activities.

We are keen to hear from self-motivated and proactive team players who can work collegially as part of this team and across the Faculty.

About you 

You will possess 

  • Previous experience of providing effective and efficient administrative support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills 
  • An ability to quickly understand complex policies and processes to offer advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload effectively to meet business requirements 
  • Good inter-personal skills and the ability to build effective and credible working relationships
  • Up-to-date Office 365 skills
  • Experience of processing invoices and purchase orders, management of orders and deliveries using the University’s, or a similar financial system would be desirable.

What we can offer you 

The vacancy is a 1-year fixed term contract for 28.8 hours a week (0.8FTE) over four days, although this is flexible to extend to shorter hours over 5 days.
