Based at Cranfield Campus, Cranfield, Bedfordshire
Hours of work 37 hours per week, normally worked Monday to Friday, to include one evening from 1.00pm until 8.00pm a week. Other flexible working opportunities will also be considered.

Role Description
About the Role
You will also have a customer-facing role, staffing the Library Welcome Desk and responding to enquiries on a regular basis. As part of this, you will be expected to work a late night once a week (1pm - 8pm).
About You
You will need to be organised, as many tasks will need to be completed as quickly as possible but you will also contribute to longer projects which require up to six months forward planning. You will need meticulous attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
You should have a good general standard of education (to ‘A’ level or equivalent standard) and have experience in an appropriate library or service environment preferably within the HE sector. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and proven experience in the delivery of high quality customer service. Previous experience using SirsiDynix Symphony, Talis Aspire, or similar products would be an advantage but are not essential as full training will be provided.
