Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for a funded Project of the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS) in the Department of Chemistry, School of Advanced Sciences (SAS), 58/14/19/2021-BRNS, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
Title of Project:
Investigations on Synthesis and Coordination Behaviour of Phosphine Oxides and their Foam Materials for the Separation of Lanthanides and Actinides in the backend of the fuel cycle
Qualification:
M.Sc. Chemistry with NET/GATE qualification
Desirable (if any):
Candidates having strong knowledge in synthetic chemistry chemistry and analyzing the spectral data will be preferred. (Industrial experience will be given more consideration).
Stipend:
Rs. 31,000/- per month (for the first two years) and it can be extendable up to 3 years based on the work satisfaction of the candidate. The redesignation will be given by the committee in the third year as SRF @ Rs. 35,000/- per month
