Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) Funded Project in School of Advanced Science (SAS), (01(3085)/21/EMR-II), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT).
Title of Project:
"Metal ion doped LnPO4 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Gd, and Lu) - Eco-friendly cool pigments for surface coating".
Qualification:
M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic/General/Materials) or M.Sc. in nanotechnology with GATE /NET qualification
Desirable (if any):
Candidates with prior experience in Inorganic Material synthesis, Materials characterization (Powder XRD, XPS, etc.) techniques, Surface coating will be preferred.
Stipend:
Rs. 31,000/- per month (for first two years), and increased to Rs. 35,000/- per month (for the third year) provided the research progress has been found satisfactory by the Committee
