As part of its continuing development, the School of Health and Life Sciences is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly organised Administrator to become a key member of the School’s Professional Services Team based at our Lanarkshire campus.
In this busy role as School Administrator, you will provide a high level of administrative support to academics and students. Working as part of a flexible team, you will provide support for education and quality assurance activities within the school to ensure that requirements in these areas are met.
The successful candidate should be educated to HNC/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in office administration or relevant subject with experience of working within a similar office environment, ideally in Further or Higher Education. Proficiency in IT and Microsoft applications is also essential.
You will have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with staff and students on all levels. In addition, you will possess excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to plan under your own initiative and work to specific deadlines. A flexible and adaptable approach to work is crucial with the ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues and sharing expertise.
This post will be based at our Lanarkshire campus, however all administrators may be required to work at any UWS campus or location from time to time to meet needs of the business.
