Location: 3 days per week remote / 2 days based in Red Lion Square, Holborn, London

Basic Scope & Primary Objectives

We are seeking a strong, self-starter to join our busy Events Marketing department. The right candidate will have a passion for events marketing, be able to work under pressure, is focused on delivering great results, makes things happen with ease and is able to multi task with their eyes closed. 

You will lead on a growing portfolio of commercial webinars and roundtable events as well as supporting the wider team in delivering campaigns for the broad portfolio of B2B events.

This role will suit someone who is confident in their ability and able to communicate with senior stakeholders, sponsors and partners as this will be a core part of your role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on the pre-agreed marketing plan of activities to drive attendee registrations for all commercially led webinars and roundtables. (In-person and virtual) ensuring deadlines, and targets are met, to deliver success for our commercial partners and sponsors
  • Work with the team to dentify target audiences and tailor individual marketing plans,  to attract the key audiences
  • Work closely with event  partners and stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Maintain commercial marketing materials for the sales teams
  • Generate post-event attendee reports for sponsors
  • Keeping the events websites up to date lates webinars and other commercial events
  • Create and manage engaging email marketing campaigns using the Mailchimp email system
  • Support the wider events marketing team when needed
  • Attend in-person events as and when needed to support the wider team

Experience and Skills Required

  • Experience in a similar marketing role
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and doing things differently
  • Confident and talented self-starter who is able to hit the ground running
  • Commercially astute and entrepreneurial outlook
  • Ability to work to agreed deadlines, working well under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to manage and prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar and proofreading, with the ability to tailor style and approach to suit a variety of global audiences
  • Interested in international higher education
  • MS Office essential – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
