Research Associate / Senior Research Assistant / Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant (PR0157/21-22)
The appointee will mainly conduct chemical tests to collect data for the Government relating to the research project on Development of Inhalable Nano-suspension (Information and Technology Commission: ITS34818FX honored by the Hong Kong Government).
Develop test methods and procedures to meet both regulatory requirements and ITC’s needs;
Review and analyse test results generated from the project testing activities;
Interpret test results and observations independently and identify test trends;
Estimate and report measurement uncertainty for testing or calibration activities; and
Determine and apply appropriate statistical technique for analysing valid measurement data.
Applicants should have/be:
PhD or master’s degree in Chemistry or related disciplines;
Proactive, organised and able to work independently;
A good command of English and Chinese including Mandarin; and
4-5 years' relevant experience in chemical or drug analysis (for master’s degree holders).
Applicants with less qualifications and experience may be considered for appointment at a lower rank. Fresh graduates may be considered for appointment as a Junior Research Assistant.
Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
