Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Perovskite Optoelectronics in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 511423), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or other relevant disciplines with comprehensive experience in organic-inorganic halide perovskite materials and their characterization and applications in optoelectronic devices. The appointee will conduct research in halide perovskite materials synthesis and characterization for applications in perovskite solar cell and LEDs. The main topic of research is about the relationship between perovskite properties and its device performance (efficiency and stability) for LED and flexible solar cell applications, with the focus on high performance 3D/2D and quasi-2D perovskite materials. He/She will work under the supervision of Professor Aleksandra Djurišić in close collaboration with Dr. W.D. Li and Dr. S.P. Feng of the Department of Mechanical Engineering for the flexible perovskite solar cells. Enquiries about the post should be sent to Professor Aleksandra Djurišić at dalek@hku.hk.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
