Research Fellow, Mineral Processing, Level BRF
- Based in the Future Industries Institute at the Mawson Lakes Campus
- Full-time, two (2) year fixed term contract
- Commencement Salary: $101,784 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)
About the Role
The Research Fellow: Minerals Processing will contribute to the research effort of Future Industries Institute (FII) and develop expertise through strategic basic and applied research projects under the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Enabling the Eco-Beneficiation of Minerals. In particular, the successful candidate will undertake research into the use of flotation and physical separation methods for the processing of low grade, complex ores.
This project is part of an Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence, linking UniSA with University and industry partners across Australia and internationally.

Essential Skills and Experience
- PhD degree in Minerals Processing, Process/Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent along with relevant post PhD research experience
- Demonstrated skills and experience in froth flotation, physical separation and hydrometallurgy in minerals processing
- Proven record of peer reviewed publications and conference presentations
- Demonstrated high level of communication and computer literacy skills, including presentation of scientific results to various stakeholders
- Proven ability to work cooperatively in a research team with staff and students from diverse backgrounds
