The Department of Management & Marketing

The Department of Department of Management and Marketing at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Professor. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests and experience in the broad field of Strategy, preferably with an emphasis on corporate strategy, innovation, value creation and/or decision making. We are particularly eager to hear from applicants from a quantitative methodological background with experience in income generation, external engagement and impact and research in, but not limited to, any of the following areas:

  • Socio-cognitive perspectives of behavioural strategy
  • Innovation strategies,
  • Value networks and value creation and value capture
  • Competitive strategies and turnaround strategy;
  • Corporate governance,
  • Sustainability
  • Public sector engagement and policy development.
