The School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Assistant Professor. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in the broad field of International Relations. We are articularly eager to hear from applicants with a focus on research and education rooted in a Continental tradition of political or sociological theory (e.g. critical theory, post-structuralism) or in non-Western political theorising; and/or focusing on issues including gender, race, (de)colonialism, indigeneity, and the international relations and foreign policy issues of the Global South.
