About the Role

As the Functional Analyst for the ServiceNow platform, you will be responsible for providing business and functional analysis to support your Scrum team throughout your team's sprints, from planning, estimating, developing to showcases.

You will work collaboratively with your fellow team mates to mitigate impeding issues to ensure we successfully achieve our team sprint goals.

In a typical week at work, you may:

  • perform business and functional analysis and configuration of the ServiceNow platform
  • assist in the development of requirements and design specifications to meet new business needs
  • resolve and fulfil ServiceNow functional incidents and service requests  
  • prepare functional impact assessments across the University for upgrades and enhancements

About You

You will have a solid understanding and experience in applying the ServiceNow platform to a range of IT and business uses and be comfortable with coordinating activities across a large, complex organisation. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to tailor your messaging to engage with audiences with different levels of ServiceNow literacy. You will further have strong analytical problem solving skills and the ability to make effective judgements to help unblock issues.

Ideally, you will further have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience
  • ITIL qualifications with service management experience in an operational environment
  • ServiceNow administration certification
  • Experience in the functional analysis and design of ServiceNow modules across one or many of ITSM, CMDB, HR, Facilities Management and custom applications highly desirable
