King’s Business School (KBS) has experienced a rapid and exciting period of growth in its first three years as a faculty. In developing new markets for student recruitment and alumni activities, KBS has developed an ambitious scholarships strategy to attract high calibre, diverse students to our programmes.
This role has two areas of focus. First, it will implement a series of processes to deliver the implementation of scholarships at KBS. This will involve working with marketing, admissions, programme directors and others within the business school to create timelines and procedures that enable smooth management of the applications and awards. This element will require some degree of financial management and budget tracking.
The second area of focus is student-facing. The post holder will create a series of communications, events and occasions to celebrate our scholars and bring them together. The role will also gather testimonials from students about their time at KBS and ensure (working with the alumni team) that the School remains positively connected to its community of scholarship recipients.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, with specific abilities to plan and design processes. They will also have a flair for customer service and be creative in designing community building engagements for scholars. This role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain a strong footing in several areas of external engagement activities.
