Assistant Lecturer in the School of Humanities (Music) (Ref.: 511339) (to commence on September 1, 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal) 

Applicants should have a Master’s degree in music, and professional music performance experience at a high level, particularly in the area of musical performance, and extensive working knowledge of the music performance sector in Hong Kong. The appointee will be responsible for teaching and coaching practical music classes, carrying administrative duties for the performance studies component of the curriculum, and facilitating musical performances at the University.  Information about the Department can be obtained at http://www.music.hku.hk.
