About the Role

Exciting opportunities for two Lecturers in Marketing who will be responsible for the development, delivery and coordination of courses within UniSA Business’ undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA programs and contributing to their research agenda programs in the area of marketing. The position will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the Academic Unit’s teaching and research outcomes and to carry out activities to maintain and develop their scholarly, research and/or professional activities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate and deliver courses on campus, offshore, online or via other appropriate methods
  • Apply research and scholarship to the development of courses
  • Establish a coherent program of research, including contributing to research activity by securing external research funding 
  • Create, foster and enhance national and international links with relevant industry, business, university and community bodies
  • Actively engage in community outreach activities including promotion of programs and courses

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Relevant doctoral degree and professional experience
  • Skills in contemporary teaching, learning and assessment
  • Current and relevant knowledge of developments in the discipline informed by continuing scholarship and/or continuing industry engagement
  • Commitment to establishing a program of research that demonstrates experience in writing for publication, and the preparation of research grant applications
  • Experience in the supervision of honours and higher degree students to completion
  • Ability to develop course materials and educational publications
