Assistant Professor in Black British Literature (ENGL22-4)
The Department of English Studies at Durham University seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Black British Literature.
The successful candidate will have appropriate teaching experience and research interests in Black British literature and culture. This post is open to applicants working across all genres of literature. Applicants with interests in performance poetry, popular culture, 'nation language', working-class literature or literatures of devolved nations are particularly welcome. We value an ability to contribute to the Department's research environment and its societal impact. We also value the capacity to teach more widely within the curriculum of the Department of English Studies.
