Job Description
We are looking for highly-motivated individuals with a passion for medical research to assist in the development of a novel hemostatic bandage materials with exceptional qualities that can enable fast clotting, yet does not stick to the wound after clotting and wound closure. The candidates will be responsible for conducting pre-clinical testing and materials optimization, primarily in support of commercialization of the technology, but there is also potential for further technology development. The candidate will work with a multinational expert team consisting of materials experts, trauma surgeons, thrombosis biologists, and med-tech translation experts, from National University of Singapore, Imperial College London and ETH Zurich, providing a well-rounded exposure.
Qualifications
PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science. Experience and expertise in nanomaterials, thrombosis biology and assays, and animal studies will be an advantage.
