The Department of Management & Marketing

The Department of Management and Marketing at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Associate Professor (Teaching). We welcome applications from those with teaching interests in the broad field of Marketing who would be able to support teaching at our Postgraduate (including MBA, and Executive Education) and Undergraduate courses. We are particularly eager to hear from applicants with a focus on but not limited to the following areas:

  • Digital Marketing and social media Social Marketing Consumer psychology Sports Marketing Global Marketing Marketing Communications

This post offers an exciting opportunity to make a contribution to the development of the Department's teaching and curriculum development, while allowing you unrivalled opportunities to progress and embed your career in an exciting and progressive institution. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of marketing academics at a critical moment for the department's development. In addition to covering some of the above topics across our undergraduate, postgraduate and executive education programmes (depending on workload allocation), you will contribute to the development of new programmes and the dissemination of best practice.

Candidates will be expected to engage in some scholarship related to pedagogy noting that any other independent research (beyond pedagogy) is not part of this post.
