Assistant Lecturer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 511290) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a doctoral degree by research in exercise science or a related discipline plus at least three years’ teaching experience in tertiary institutions. High proficiency in English and good mentoring skills are essential. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. The appointee will teach courses in exercise physiology, exercise prescription, sports nutrition, health benefits of exercise, exercise and diseases, biomechanics, physical activity measurement, exercise biology, and other related fields. He/She will contribute to curriculum development, enhancement and quality assurance; provide support to research and scholarship in medical education; develop academic partnerships; and perform other duties as assigned.
