Job Description

We are looking for a Research Fellow who is experienced in the thin film transistors and their applications in flexible electronics and sensors. The selected incumbent is expected to

  • Take responsibility for the design, fabrication and characterization of thin-film transistors. 
  • Assist with the development of high performance p-channel TFT for various applications, including pH sensing applications. 
  • Be involved in technology development to increase the technology readiness level toward manufacturability.
  • Provide support to a team of engineers in solving multi-disciplinary problems, including preparation of documentation and presentation of results of analyses/testing to peers.
  • Conduct high-quality research, propose his/her own research ideas, and to be an active member of the department.


  • At least a Doctoral degree in electrical engineering or related areas. 
  • At least 2-years of relevant research experiences in microelectronics.
  • Possess knowledge and research experience in semiconductor devices, sensors and device fabrication. 
  • Experienced in technical proposal writing and presentation skills.
  • Able to plan and organize well and adhere to deadlines.
  • Doing research in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Open to fixed-term contract
