The University of Lincoln is seeking to recruit a M&E Maintenance Engineer to join its Estates Team.

The Estates Department comprises a high performing team of estate professionals that continues to manage and develop an impressive estate. The Maintenance function is well established with growth planned in staff numbers to support both recent and planned growth of the University and the estate – not least the addition of a Medical School, the Centre of Excellence, innovative research buildings and c.3,000 new student accommodation spaces.

To ensure the maintenance function is properly supported, the university now wish to recruit to this critical post of M&E Maintenance Engineer. The role will manage the operation and maintenance of Mechanical and Electrical Services throughout the University estate. This will include the management of planned and reactive maintenance of all M&E assets to ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, University policies and University requirements.

The role requires the provision of high-level technical skills and abilities, leading the Maintenance Contractor in maintaining and improving the University Student Experience and Environment. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical and electrical planned and reactive maintenance, proven experience in M&E Project Management and the ability to manage maintenance contracts and contractors.
