The Role

Maynooth University is committed to a strategy in which the primary University goals of excellent research and scholarship and outstanding education are interlinked and equally valued. The Security Supervisor, reporting directly to the General Services Manager, will be expected to assist management in the effective operation, maintenance and development of Campus Security services. He/she will assume responsibility for day-to-day office and staff management and will act as a key support on projects. The Security Supervisor may be assigned to several projects, depending on strategic and operational demands at any given time. The Security Supervisor is required to work a weekly shift pattern, five days over seven.

Administrative Officer II (2021) Salary Scale:                                   €39,236 – €56,297 p.a. (9 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
