Applications are invited for a Temporary 3 year post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Below the Bar) in Sport Management within UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science

University College Dublin (UCD) is a market leader for the study of sport, with sport related subjects at the University having attained a QS world (top 50) ranking in 2021 while the UCD MSc in sport management is ranked in the top 40 postgraduate programmes globally. The School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science is a research-intensive school with diverse teaching and research interests across the fields of public health, dietetics, food safety, physiotherapy, sport science and management, and occupational safety and health.

The School is committed to the highest standards in undergraduate and graduate teaching and research supervision. The post will be for three years, and the post holder will primarily contribute to teaching and research in the subject area of Sport Management - primarily with a focus on sport policy, politics, governance, tourism, and international development. The successful candidate will deliver teaching and conduct research supervision on both BSc Sport & Exercise Management and MSc Sport Management.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Below The Bar Salary Scale: €34,746 - €60,984 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
