Applications are invited for the appointment as Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics (Ref.: 509227), to commence on September 1, 2022, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, with at least 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level. Proficiency in English and enthusiasm for teaching are essential. The appointee will be responsible for teaching undergraduate mathematics related courses; supervising undergraduate mathematics projects; assisting in curriculum development; and contributing to other teaching related activities, such as liaising with undergraduates in the Department, promoting mathematics to the general public, and conducting student recruitment.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 15% of basic salary.
