Job description
The School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow within the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine (WWIEM), Queen’s University Belfast.
The successful candidate will join the retinal immunopathology research team within WWIEM. They will employ a broad range of cell and molecular biological approaches to study the role of mesenchymal stem cells in retinal fibrosis.
The successful candidate must have and your CV/Cover letter (or application form) should clearly demonstrate you have:
- Have or about to obtain* a PhD in vision science, cell biology, molecular biology, or a closely related area of biomedicine.
(* must have submitted PhD thesis at the time of application).
Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
