Applications are invited for appointment as Training Consultant (at the rank of Research Officer) in The Hong Kong Jockey Club Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.: 509048), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in clinical or counselling psychology with at least five years of clinical, academic or professional experience, and an excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Experience in research is preferable. The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills with a high level of proficiency in computer software applications, and the ability to work independently.
The appointee will be responsible for the development of mental health related training content, and the planning and implementation of professional training programmes for parents, teachers and other health professionals. He/She will provide supervision/training to other team members and assist the project director in managing ongoing research projects.
