With the generous support of Snow Medical and NHMRC, research in the Burr lab encompasses ambitious fundamental and translational research projects spanning cancer cell biology, immunology and epigenetics. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of scientists and clinicians working in a supportive and collaborative environment. The candidate will have access to cutting-edge technologies, expertise and facilities within the Burr lab, JCSMR, ANU and the Canberra Hospital. The role will provide opportunities for the candidate to lead research projects, pursue new research ideas, supervise students and junior researchers, develop new skills and expertise and contribute to national and international collaborative research projects. Supported by the Snow Fellowship program, the position incorporates a specific commitment to providing career development opportunities, research skills and leadership training.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a PhD and strong research background in one or more of: cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, chromatin biology, biochemistry, or cancer biology.
