We are seeking research assistants to join a multidisciplinary team at MOE Frontier Science Center for Brain Science and Brain-Machine Integration and Affiliated Mental Health Center, Zhejiang University.

The hosting PI is Dr. Haiteng Jiang (https://sites.google.com/site/haitengjiang).

The goal is to integrate experimental design, computational modelling, machine learning, multi-modal brain imagining (e.g., MEG/EEG/ECOG/SEEG, MRI, DTI) and neuromodulation techniques (e.g., rTMS, tDCS and tACS) to study cognition and neurological disorders (e.g., major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and sleep disorder) with the aims of advancing system neuroscience and developing translational applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in scientific research, including but not limited to: literature review, experiment conduct, data analysing and scientific report.
  • Obey the arrangement from the institute, and undertake certain daily affairs management work.

Job Requirements:

  • Majors in psychology and cognitive science, biomedical engineering, computer science are preferred.
  • Those who have one or more of the following conditions are preferred: prior experience in using EEG, fNRIS, fMRI, rTMS, tDCS or tACS; prior experience in conducting psychology experiments; Programming with Matlab, R or Python; Scientific publication record.
  • Priority will be given to job applicants who intend to study as a graduate student with a cooperative tutor.
  • Have good academic ethics, communication skills and strong teamwork spirit.
  • Work full-time in Zhejiang University, and the contract period should be within 1 to 2 years according to the research projects
