SETsquared is an award-winning business accelerator, running a large number of high-profile events and training programmes each year including showcases for international business investors and presentations to political stakeholders at the House of Commons. The showcases, presentations and training programmes bring together start-up and scale-up businesses, investors, corporates as well as senior academics, researchers, students and political audiences with the purpose of helping businesses to grow and deliver economic impact.

We are now looking for a Marketing Events Coordinator to effectively manage a portfolio of events, from high-profile events (including showcases for international business investors and presentations at the House of Commons) to training programmes for entrepreneurs and innovators, providing expert advice and guidance ensure high quality, high impact events and programmes.

Working flexibly within the Programme and Event team at SETsquared, the Marketing Events Coordinator will undertake all tasks related to event planning, coordination and delivery, including financial operations.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and to work well as part of a busy team. You will be a self-starter and enjoy the challenge of making things happen in a fast-moving environment and genuine enthusiasm for events and training programmes.  You will have strong office experience in a customer-focused environment. Experience in event delivery is essential and if this was within a technology environment this would be desirable.
