The Role

The role of a fixed term Teaching Fellow at Durham provides the opportunity to deliver outstanding education within an inclusive and supportive environment that is staffed by world class colleagues.

The primary focus of this role will be to teach and contribute to modules, in a relevant area within Economics and Finance. Successful applicants may also be required to act as module leader and as such coordinate the input of others, be the first point of contact for student disciplinary matters and complaints and be willing to contribute to collaborative decisions which have an impact on students and the development and delivery of programmes.

Teaching Fellowships offer the opportunity of valuable experience to those early in their academic careers and the University is keen to maximise the benefit to as many people as possible. The post will involve a significant teaching load, which may extend into the summer period.

This role is fixed term for 12 months it is not anticipated that this period would be extended beyond the initial fixed term.

Successful applicants will, ideally be in post by January 4th, 2022.
