YOUR ROLE

The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the leadership, direction and management of the Master of Global Trade program within the Business Innovation (BI) department. This includes contributing to the strategic direction setting of the program by working collaboratively with other relevant members of RMIT Vietnam and the RMIT College of Business and Law (CoBL) as well as external stakeholders.

The scope of responsibilities includes assisting with strategic planning for the program; collaborating with Head of Department and Marketing/Recruitment staff in planning and execution of information sessions for prospective students; participating in new student orientation sessions; reviewing applicant materials and interviewing applicants as part of the admissions process; overall quality assurance of the program, student relationship management; and program budgeting and resource management.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Relevant PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification from a recognised institution. Minimum of five years' experience in an industry related senior leadership position. Extensive experience as a manager of people. Evidence of innovative, inclusive teaching approaches that meet the needs of student diversity. Track-record of high-quality curriculum development and delivery, teaching practice innovations and developments. Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead and manage academic and professional teams and contribute to a collaborative and diverse workplace. Demonstrated range of skills relating to the conceptualisation, execution and evaluation of courses, including the capability and competence to teach a range of program-relevant courses. Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the RMIT Behavioural Capability Framework (Connectedness, Commitment to Excellence; Imagination and Innovation; Impact; Inclusion; Agility).

To be eligible to be considered for a Senior Program Manager role you will need to be able to evidence to date, a strong and consistent background in relevant international research with a strong publications’ portfolio.

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS Academic 7.0 and with no band less than 6.5 (or equivalent).
