The University of Greenwich is recruiting a projects and policy coordinator to work in the Vice-Chancellor’s office.

The Vice-Chancellor’s office (VCO) within the University of Greenwich is an exciting place to work. The successful candidate would be part of the VCO support group, working with the senior leaders of the university to deliver the ambitions of our ‘This is Our Time: University of Greenwich Strategy 2030’.

The projects and policy coordinator within the VCO will work on a variety of projects simultaneously gaining a breadth of experience and using their research and analysis skills to shape university’s projects and policies. The role involves working with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally and taking on responsibility for specific projects, for example our BAME Awarding Gap project.

The successful candidate will have the ability to understand the wider university strategy priorities and how they shape specific projects. They will have project management skills, ability to interpret evidence, build positive relationships, and have excellent communication skills. They will also be able to manage their own workload across multiple projects, prioritise, and deliver to deadlines that may change. Experience within higher education sector would be advantageous but not essential.
