Programme Management Office (PMO), iSolutions Department

The University’s IT Service, iSolutions, are looking for the right people to deliver projects that change how the University uses IT to work. We need experienced and dynamic Project Managers to deliver our IT projects. If that’s you, then we would love to hear from you.

You will join our PMO to project manage a range of new strategic IT projects, for a diverse community of 20,000+ students and 5,500+ University staff.

Working within the strategic IT portfolio you will deliver a range of IT projects designed to deliver easier ways of working and provide a better online environment by reducing the complexity of IT systems.

You will already have Project Management experience, including end-to-end delivery of at least one project with significant business change. Ideally, you will also have worked on a project requiring technical integration and/or an element of data migration.

You will have a highly professional approach and demonstrable strengths in project planning, and team leadership. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills appropriate for a wide range of internal stakeholders. Experience in managing technical deliveries from a supplier is a must. You will be able to build, manage and motivate diverse project teams in a matrix management environment. You will be professional, clear thinking under pressure and be a role model within the PMO.

You will have a skill level and experience equivalent to a post-graduate degree. PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent is desirable.
