We seek to appoint an experienced and highly motivated Senior Lecturer / Lecturer in Public Health. This post is based in the Department of Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing, which is one of five departments in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, Northumbria University. As a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer you will be responsible for developing and delivering research-rich, innovative teaching,learning, assessment, and student support at undergraduate and post graduate levels, which promotes excellent student experience, progression, and success. You will be expected to contribute to high quality research, knowledge exchange, entrepreneurship, and to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will demonstrate specialist knowledge and subject expertise in Public Health gained through research activity, professional practice, or consultancy. It is expected that you will be qualified to doctoral level or close to completing your doctoral studies, with a clear plan for your research.Evidence of research outputs which are of high quality and are consistent with criteria for inclusion in future Research Excellence Framework submissions are essential. You should also have (or be prepared to obtain in the first 2 years of employment) Advance HE Fellowship.
