One of the largest schools within the University with more than one-hundred academic staff, it strives to transform lives through outstanding education. The School’s research environment is characterised by a vibrant, supportive community of research leaders, with internationally recognized expertise across a broad range of disciplines.

Deakin is seeking candidates with high-level, strategic leadership skills and a demonstrated capacity to positively influence and inspire the activities of colleagues and stakeholders. They will be well-rounded scholars with a track-record of exceptional and collaborative research leadership and the ability to drive research excellence, along with the ability to create a vibrant student environment and to develop innovative curricula to prepare students for an ever changing workplace while equipping students to be creative and globally engaged thinkers. The successful candidate will also be externally engaged and understand the ever-growing need for universities to work in partnership with community, industry, and government for the benefit of students and research.
