As Assistant Director, Development & Events (Impact) you will be a key player within the department by leading a driven team and having the responsibility for delivering our corporate events including graduation, which takes place at the stunning Lincoln Cathedral and Castle. You will have the opportunity to spearhead our development campaigns and be expert at stewardship and relationship building. We are a key team which raises the reputation of the University of Lincoln globally, and you will contribute to this through working with the wider team to produce exceptional events and innovative partnerships. Please note, due to the events we hold, a flexible approach to work to accommodate evening and weekend working will be required.
There are many great reasons why our students and staff are proud of the University of Lincoln, our inspirational teaching, world-leading research, and close links with industry. Situated in the heart of a beautiful and historic city, we are the Modern University of the Year in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021 and ranked in the top 20 in the UK for overall student satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2022 and in The Guardian.
As a member of staff you can be confident that you are joining a university that places the quality of the student experience at the heart of everything it does. We provide our staff with a comprehensive benefit package which includes 30 days of annual leave (with additional University closure days and bank holidays), a generous pension scheme, local and national discounts, green travel initiatives, and a variety of development opportunities. If you share our passion for education and success and enjoy working in a fast-paced and friendly environment, we would love to hear from you.
Interviews for this role will be held ‘in person’ on the Brayford Campus on the publicised interview date.
