We are looking for a Head of School for our college of higher education (academic partner of the University East London) providing accredited and registered Psychotherapy and Counselling trainings and Masters Degrees in Art Psychotherapy and Child Psychotherapy. 

We are looking for someone who has a background in operations and quality assurance in education (school, college, University, Head of Faculty). Applicants must have strong experience in operational processes and process enhancement, with highly sophisticated people skills, managing stressful situations to the point of resolution, within the education sector and have the skills required to lead operational and delivery enhancement projects. A strong focus on the customer experience combined with a broad knowledge of educational administration is essential.

Must have:
•    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an enthusiastic approach  
•    Experience of Strategic Planning, Business Development
•    Experience of running either a school or college or faculty in a higher education organisation 
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Critical thinking skills and motivational knowledge

The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education is a fully accredited independent College of Higher Education established in 1983. In collaboration with the University of East London, IATE runs Masters Degrees in Art Psychotherapy, Child Psychotherapy, a Post Graduate Certificate in the Therapeutic Arts and many other shorter courses in Counselling and Psychotherapy.  The IATE trainings are also regulated by United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and the Health Care Professions Council. 

The position holder will be required to work 4 days per week.
