The College of Arts is a vibrant and growing element of the University of Lincoln which is based in the heart of this thriving, friendly and beautiful city. The College’s Technical Services Team is made up of over 30 highly skilled and specialist staff who provide a wide-range of services and support to students and academic staff from across the numerous schools within the College. The College is also home to the Art Shop which provides an extensive range of art materials for sale to students, staff and programs.
We are looking to recruit an individual to support teaching and learning across the Colleges extensive PC and iMac computer suites. While the post holder will be expected to support students and academic teams across the College, the role will focus on the AutoDesk, Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino 3D and Fusion360 software packages, the CAD and Rhino computer suites and management of the college Render Farm.
Applications from people with extensive experience of Rhino and AutoCAD, or Deadline Software are especially welcome.
As an applicant for this post, you should ideally have;
- experience in working with various software to include Fusion 360, Rhino, CAD and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- experience of supporting Windows and Apple operating systems.
- knowledge of Render Farms, their operation and management.
- be self-motivated and a proactive team player with a passion for providing an excellent student experience
- the potential to develop your skills so that you are able to provide technical support to the wider team
