The Dickson Poon School of Law is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive School Research Officer, who will be dedicated to administration of the School’s PhD (PGR/doctoral) programme. A key member of the research support team, the role holder will work closely with the academic Director of Doctoral Studies and Postgraduate Research Sub-committee members to ensure that the doctoral programme runs to high standards, both in terms of academic quality and student experience.  

The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues and doctoral students. They will be highly organised, numerate, self-motivated and an excellent verbal and written communicator.

The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London is one of the oldest law schools in England and is recognised globally as one of the best law schools in the world. It has a long-standing reputation for excellence in the laws of England and Wales, European, International and Transnational Law. The School’s total cohort of doctoral students is around 100, full-time and part-time, with approx. 20 new students admitted to the programme each year.
