Would you like the opportunity to help international students start their journey at the University of Lincoln? We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working administrator to support our growing community of students from around the world.

Our International Admissions team work hard to provide a world-class experience for students and play a key role at this very early stage of the student’s journey.

About the role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the successful recruitment of international students. Delivering excellence in customer service as part of a dynamic and busy team who are responsible for all aspects of the applications and admissions process up to enrolment, of non UK applicants to postgraduate taught and undergraduate courses.

Reporting to the Senior International Admissions Officer, this is a key role within the International Admissions team.  Your main duties will be to process international applications from point of submission through to enrolment. This will include assessing fee status and ensuring that decisions are made by referring to the University’s agreed criteria for each programme, using specialist knowledge and recording all such decisions on the University’s computerised student management system, within the specified deadlines.

In addition, you will provide daily support and guidance to international applicants and agents verbally and in writing, including those of a complex nature.

About you

You will have experience of working in a demanding, customer-focused environment and will be an effective and flexible team member. Finally, you will be expected to independently apply knowledge and judgement to respond to non-standard applications and queries and to offer advice and guidance to academic colleagues when assessing applications.

You will need to be able to work well under pressure in a fast moving and target driven environment. The position involves a high level of contact with potential applicants and a strong sense of service excellence is essential.
