Faculty / Directorate

Home to four specialist schools - Allied Health Sciences, Applied Social Sciences, Leicester School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine, and Leicester School of Pharmacy – the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at De Montfort University educates and develops professionals who make a significant difference to lives, health, wellbeing, communities and society. Candidates should be outstanding in their chosen field. They must hold, or be close to submitting for a doctoral degree. Relevant experience in the health/Global Health field is desirable. Appointees will focus on establishing an academic profile through participation in appropriate teaching and learning activities, as well as further developing their research profile.

Ideal Candidate

You will be required to undertake teaching and module leadership at undergraduate and postgraduate level to students from a wide-range of backgrounds. You will be required to design and develop innovative and engaging learning materials and assessments and participate fully in curriculum development, including personal knowledge and expertise in health-related subjects.
