Job Description
The candidate will support in the management, verification and analysis of data, and in clinical procedures for a large longitudinal cohort Diabetes study of more than 2,600 participants returning for 9 clinical visits.
The candidate will be performing the following:
- Data entry, verification and analysis of clinical and questionnaire data using MS Excel and SPSS
- Assisting in clinical procedures such as Oral Glucose Tolerance Test and Euglycemic-Hyperinsulinemic Clamp
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of specialized equipment used in the clinical procedures
- Conducting informed consent with participants
- Literature review and presentation for journal clubs / results
Contract: 1 year
Qualifications
- BSc in Life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences / Health Sciences or related discipline
- Positive attitude – able to work independently and as a team
- Meticulous and Analytical
- Prior experience to data analysis and clinical procedures not necessary but need to be willing to learn
