Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 508712), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree with a strong research background in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, public health, big data analytics or artificial intelligence analytics.  They should also have a good command of written and spoken English; strong communication skills; a demonstrated track record of publishing academic research papers; self-motivation with a hard-working attitude; and the ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team.  Work experience in electronic medical records, data mining and management, and data visualization using R, SAS, Stata, or Python are preferred.

The appointee will contribute to collaborative research on global health and post-marketing surveillance of medicines using novel data analytics.  Working off campus may be required.
