About the Roles
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two new Research Fellows or Research Assistants to join the team to support the ATI / Airbus Digital Assembly for Wing (DAWN) project. We are currently developing an integrated digital metrology environment to link complex metrology data both locally generated and from the supply chain to control complex assembly processes.
We are looking for individuals to join the team with good software skills and a knowledge of metrology and / or automation. You will need to have good project management skills as well as taking a ‘hands on’ approach to the development of technology. A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or a related subject is essential for these posts. You will also ideally hold a relevant PhD (Research Fellow level), but exceptionally candidates with a Masters’ Degree and appropriate relevant experience may be considered (Research Assistant level).
In return, the successful applicants will have exciting opportunities for career development in these key positions, and to be at the forefront of world leading research and education, joining a supportive team and environment.
